Pylons come in multiple variations, with each one corresponding to one of Terraria ’s many biomes . Getting them is actually fairly straightforward, as each biome’s Pylon can be purchased by any of the vendor NPCs living in said biome. Players can place a Pylon anywhere within its respective biome, so long as that biome has two resident NPCs housed nearby. The exception to this is the Universal Pylon that players can unlock by completing the Bestiary for the Zoologist , as that can be used in any biome at any distance from NPCs.
