Blending existing exotic perfumes to create a signature scent is both an art and a personal experiment. It allows you to move beyond store-bought fragrances and build a scent that reflects your identity. The process is elegant in theory but requires patience and attention to detail.
Start by choosing your favorite three fragrances. Choose notes that enhance one another—perhaps a floral heart, a smoky base, and a bright top. Steer clear of overwhelming combinations, as this can produce an unbalanced olfactory mess rather than a cohesive aromatic experience.
Before blending, test each perfume on your skin separately and allow them to develop for 10–15 minutes. This gives you a sense of how they develop throughout the day. Then, place drops on distinct skin zones, keeping them slightly separated. Note whether they merge beautifully or conflict. Do they elevate one another or clash? This test phase helps you identify the most compelling pairing.
